StudyHorseracing is second only to football in terms of attendances, jobs supported, tax contribution and capital investment. The range and scope of roles in racing in the UK are varied and if you have a passion and enthusiasm for the industry, there’s no reason you can’t realise your potential in a racing related role.

As with all job types, experience and qualifications will help in giving you a head start in your racing career, be it out of school, further or higher education or maybe you have a lot of skills and require a small amount of retraining for a second career. Cheshire Racing Hub education partners include the school of Veterinary Science at the University of Liverpool and Reaseheath College, both of which offer courses which could springboard your career potential.

The Cheshire Racing Hub aims to give people of all ages as much information about careers in racing and in the region, linking in with the British Horseracing Authority’s Careers in Racing information.
